Welcome to Messy Minded Momma!
Hi, I’m a neurodivergent Momma, married to a neurodivergent man, raising a child who is probably neurodivergent too–and if that wasn’t enough, we also have a 14-year-old Morkie with extreme anxiety who adds her own little flair to the chaos with every adorable bark. Our home is equal parts love, overstimulation. big feelings, deep empathy, and constant learning.
Messy Minded Momma is a space for real motherhood–the kind that doesn’t fit neatly into schedules, Pinterest routines, or “just try harder” advice. My mind is busy, my heart is full, and some days I feel like I’m fumbling through motherhood with one shoe on and an iced coffee in hand. And that’s ok here.
This blog is about motherhood and mental health through a neurodivergent lens. I share the messy thoughts, the small wins, the overwhelm, the attempted coping strategies, and the moments where love shows up louder than the noise. If you’re a mom who feels too tired, too anxious, too scattered, too guilty–or just different–you belong here.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. I definitely don’t. We’re just doing our best, together.
